The modern lifts take you comfortably up to 2,600 meters, where a breathtaking panorama opens up before you and the next mountain hut beckons with regional specialties.

The imposing mountain world of the Stelvio National Park rises up around you: 14 majestic three-thousand-metre peaks, with the Ortler (3,905 m) as the shining king. As you climb higher step by step, you are accompanied by marmots, chamois and perhaps even a golden eagle in the sky.
