Ice climbing

Ice climbing is a special discipline of alpine climbing or mountaineering. Climbing is done at frozen waterfalls or icicles. Ice climbers use crampons, special ice axes and the same protective equipment as for alpine climbing. Sulden’s alpine schools offer special courses.
