Avalanche training camp
The avalanche training camp was set up to provide practical training in the use of avalanche transceivers. The first 15 minutes after an avalanche are crucial for the survival of buried victims. The companions’ measures are decisive until the arrival of the rescue forces. If these initial measures are correct, the chances of survival of the buried victims increase considerably. Training rescue missions are available free of charge during the opening hours of the ski resort at the avalanche camp which is located directly next to Madritschhütte.
